MEET THE TEAM - Katie Hughes

Hello!

My name is Katie and I have been a member of the WMWM team since late 2022 and have loved watching the business grow from strength to strength!

I assist the WMWM family as the Business Development Manager, and my role is primarily to seek new business opportunities and develop existing processes to help create efficiencies. Pretty much anything to do with organisation and wine appreciation is my ideal career! When I decided to leave the finance industry, I was lucky enough to be given an opportunity to join the WMWM team and other than being a wine 'appreciator', I had no previous exposure to this industry. I can honestly say, it has been one of the best leap of faith moments, to be able to join this team and learn more about wine, champagne and spirits.

Two of my biggest loves have always been champagne and pearls; and to now be working with both is not only fun but incredibly rewarding!

One of the things I love about our beverage portfolio, is, not only has it been specifically selected to be enjoyed by the female palate, but it consists of fun and unique beverages to appeal to those of us who are looking for je ne sais quoi. 

Now I don't usually like to single out favourites, but the exclusively imported Royal Riviera Champagne is certainly one of my top picks for those who enjoy a special glass of bubbly with a cheese platter, or special get together with girlfriends. I look forward to sharing more about my WMWM journey with you.
